$240 per clinical psychology session, or $260 per after-hours session (including weekends). A Medicare rebate of approximately $141 is available with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from a GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician.

If you have an agreement with TAC or Workcover for psychology treatment expenses, please provide us with the details of your claim prior to or at the time of your first appointment.

Yes,telehealth appointments are available and easy to access. These are also subsidised by most funding sources (Medicare, Workcover, TAC and private health insurance).

It is important that you have a private and quiet space to attend the telehealth appointment.

Clinical psychologists are psychologists who specialise in the assessment and treatment of psychological disorders using an evidence-based approach. In Australia, they require eight years of training in tertiary education and supervised practice.

Clinical psychologists are required by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency to complete 30 hours of professional development each year to maintain their registration.

While therapists are able to make recommendations about the duration of therapy based on research studies on therapy protocols and effectiveness, it ultimately depends on many factors.

These can include: the nature of the presenting issues, your goals, which therapy approach was agreed on, your circumstance and logistics.

 Gladys will work with you one-on-one to address your individual concerns. Depending on the needs of each patient, therapy may be short or long term and tailored for their specific situation; we can help determine which option works best! Each session is 50 minutes, mental health care plan allows for 10 subsidised sessions per year.
